President - Danielle Patterson

Danielle is the President of the Amityville Junior League. In her current role, Danielle is responsible to ensure that the Junior League stays true to the core beliefs of the JL and mission of helping the members of our amazing community, while encouraging and engaging the members of the group.

In her previous role as Treasurer, Danielle oversaw the annual budget and allocation of funds. In addition to her role as Treasurer, she was the chairwoman of the Budget and Finance Committee and is a member of the Scholarship Committee.

Outside of the Junior League, Danielle is a wife and mother to a beautiful daughter and a crazy Goldendoodle. She works in Healthcare Administration and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is known for mixing up signature cocktails and her worlds famous guacamole. A lover of all seasons, you can find her napping by the pool or at the beach in the summer or skiing down the bunny slopes in the winter.

 
 

Vice President - Bonnie Meyerrose


Bonnie has been a member of the Junior League since 2013. During that time she has served on the Board as secretary (2 years), Vice President, President (2 years), Past President (2 years) and is currently the Vice President once again. Being a part of the Junior League is a family tradition - her mother-in-law was a member in the 80’s.

Bonnie works in the NYS Court System as a Supreme Court Judges Secretary. One of her favorite hats to wear is being mom to her two kids (21 and 17 years old). Her husband is a life-long Amityville resident and Bonnie has enjoyed being a part of this wonderful community for over 22 years.

Treasurer - Maryann Wegh

Maryann is the Treasurer of the Amityville Junior League. Her responsibilities include helping the Amityville community and keeping a close eye on the budget. She wants to maintain the core values of the Junior League and help it grow. Maryann is also a chair member of the fundraising committee. 

 When she is not partaking in Junior League activities, she enjoys traveling with her husband, playing soccer and volleyball, and enjoying great food at Amity Ales. You can also find her walking her large, white dog “Tato” all over Amityville. Since moving to Amityville in 2018, Maryann fell in love with the village, the people, and the views.

 

Historian - Meghan Brooks

Recording Secretary - Christine Redden

I have been living in Amityville for the last four years with my husband, Matthew, and two children, Charlotte and Thomas. I am a high school math teacher for the New York City Department of Education, and just completed a master's degree in Educational Leadership at Stony Brook University. In my spare time I like going to the beach, stand-up paddle boarding, retreating to the family home in the Catskills, and playing golf.

 

Corresponding Secretary - Jennifer Squicciarini

Jennifer has lived in Amityville since 2008. She is married to James and they have two beautiful children. Jennifer has been part of the Junior League over the last few years and participates on the Scholarship Committee as a co-chair with Tracey Cullen.

Jennifer has been a practice manager in an orthopedic setting for many years and has spent the last 22 years in healthcare. Jennifer has a business administration degree and has a passion for healthcare.

Jennifer enjoys traveling, skiing, yoga, and taking her children to their activities. In addition to volunteering at school and in the community.

Past President - Kathryn Frevola

Kathryn (Kate) is the Past President of the Amityville Junior League. In this role, Kate was responsible for helping to enhance the overall member experience while ensuring the JL commitment to promoting and improving the community of Amityville.

In addition to Kate’s role, she also had the opportunity to Chair the Holiday Homes Tour Committee for the last three years. This event is something that she truly looks forward to each year. Not only is Christmas such a magical time in Amityville, but this event also enables the Junior League to give back to the community throughout the year, providing multiple college scholarships and donations to our residents and local businesses.

Kate is a proud lifetime Amityville resident raising her two children just blocks from her childhood home.
