History and Purpose of Organization

The Junior League of the Amityville Woman's Club, Inc. is a not for profit organization of women committed to promoting and improving the community of Amityville and providing similar opportunities for communities through out Long Island.  Throughout the years the Junior League has contributed to several service and charitable organizations.  We are dedicated to helping those in need both in our own community as well as where anyone sees a need.  Every year the Junior League conducts the Holiday Homes tour which traditionally is held on the first Saturday of December.  This tour provides the fundraising which enables scholarships to be awarded based on need and/or merit to local high school seniors to help finance their college education.  The League is comprised of a wonderful group of energetic women and are always looking for new members.
